Thursday morning and I'm I've definitely come down with a cold. I'll take it easy today.
Since I will likely just chill today and not go back to Yellowstone, I thought I'd post a few random nature pics from the trip so far.
First here is an albino squirrel I saw in the park at St. Paul.

On the walk to the Minnehaha waterfall, I spied this bird looking for fish. Anyone know what it is? A kingfisher, maybe?

Along the road in South Dakota there were these beautiful fields of sunflowers. I wonder if the farmers harvest them for sunflower oil? I'll have to do some research on that.

Also, some sweet, humble prairie flowers. I loved the hue of dusty pink.

Finally, another bison shot in Yellowstone, this time a small herd grazing on the edge of a geothermal field. I guess they know where to step and where not to step.

Hopefully I'll be feeling better tomorrow and ready for some fresh exploits. So it's goodbye to Yellowstone and on to Salt Lake City.

A good idea to kick back and let your body rest. Never see. An albino squirrel before and I think that is a kingfisher. Feel better and soon you’ll have dear company to share the open road.
